According to a widely followed tracking forecast from the Atlanta Federal Reserve on Monday, the US economy may grow at a paltry 0.6 percent annual pace in the first quarter. And a Labor Department report Friday is likely to show that the unemployment rate remained at a very respectable 4.9 percent.
